Humanity can be learnt
With Project Humanity - the free modular teaching aid, Humanitarian Education becomes accessible for the classroom.
40h planned teaching hours
for young people between the ages of 14 and 18
Hybrid teaching with a digital diary
Project Humanity teaches social and emotional skills. We need these more and more in today's world.
As the name suggests, human education is centred on people. Everything to do with being human is explained with the help of humanitarian principles.
The following modules and content are learnt with Project Humanity.
The students exchange initial findings. In this way, they develop a common basis for the following modules.
Participants develop an increased awareness of their own values and the values of their classmates.
The third module looks at the humanitarian reality from two perspectives: that of people in need and that of people involved in humanitarian aid.
Pupils are given the opportunity to orientate themselves and form an opinion. They also learn to defend their point of view.
In the fifth and final module, participants are asked to develop and implement their own contribution to the Humanitarian Principles in self-formed groups.
«This school project provides manifold approaches and is interesting for the students as well as for me as their teacher.»

"The project was exciting for me because I got to know my pupils in a different way. And it was worth it because they learnt a surprising amount and had a lot of fun."
